Okay, what have I gotten myself into with this daily blogging thing? I actually have some topics I\u2019d like to talk about laying in the wings, but for right now, I\u2019m just winging it. I\u2019ve used wing an awful lot already. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
So it\u2019s Monday, and I said I would be blogging every day, meaning Monday through Friday, but today I have no idea what to write about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maybe I will just talk about my day. To be quite honest, my day today was pretty uneventful. I don\u2019t think I was very productive. No, I take that back. It\u2019s not a question of me not thinking, I know \u2013 I know I wasn\u2019t very productive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I got up this morning without an alarm clock around 8:40am, took a bath, read a little in the bath, went from one oversized dress I would only wear around the house, to another loose-fitting cotton shift I would never be seen in outside the house. My hair kinda looks like Michael Jackson\u2019s from \u201cThe Wiz.\u201d And how apropos because it\u2019s pretty scary (I also remember him using the word apropos in that movie, just thought I\u2019d mention that). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve been doing a lot of planning in my head without writing anything down. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I should probably do my laundry tomorrow, though I think I can go one more day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I looked at a lot of condos online today, as if I had money to buy one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don\u2019t know if I\u2019ve mentioned this in this blog before, and I\u2019m not in the mood to look it up, so if you\u2019ve read this before, here it is again. Anyway, speaking of condos and having a place of my own (I live in an apartment with my mom and sister), I remember when I first started watching \u201cSex and the City\u201d, back when we lived in a house when I was around 20. I remember seeing that room with a closet and a bathroom that she called an apartment, and thinking I couldn\u2019t imagine living in something like that in my 20s let alone 30s like she was. What in the hell are they calling apartments in New York?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fast forward 20 years later, and now at 40, what I wouldn\u2019t give to be able to afford a tiny ass apartment like that. As a matter of fact, I\u2019ve been kinda obsessed with tiny apartments as of late, watching mostly New York City studio apartment tours on YouTube, and a few in LA. But studio apartments aren\u2019t really a West Coast thing, we have the space here. There\u2019s not much need to stick you in a walk-in closet and call it an apartment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So anyway, that\u2019s what I did today. I also watched my must-see daily shows, which included The View, The Real, and the game show 25 Words or Less which I\u2019ve gotten into ever since they took Steve Harvey off the air. It\u2019s just a really cute game show that\u2019s so fun for me to watch. I wonder how I would do if I went on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I got my stimulus check, well actually direct deposit last Wednesday, and I\u2019m trying to be good about spending it. I\u2019m trying not to spend it frivolously is what I\u2019m saying. It was weird seeing the money in my account. On the one hand I was happy about it because I really needed the money. On the other, I was upset that I made little enough to qualify for it. Like I\u2019d much rather not qualify for it, but I won\u2019t complain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Well, that\u2019s enough for today\u2026oh, and one more thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
