I feel like I\u2019ve missed out on posts more than I\u2019ve made them lately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hey, but I never promised substantive posts every time so, hey \u2013 you get what you get. Nah, just kidding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Truth is, I just haven\u2019t been in the mood to write lately. And it\u2019s not like I have writer\u2019s block. It\u2019s not even that I don\u2019t have anything to say. I have tons to write about, tons to say. I just don\u2019t feel like sitting down to write it, sculpting sentences, editing pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But don\u2019t worry, you\u2019re not the only ones I\u2019ve been neglecting. I was supposed to do my laundry ever since Monday. I kept pushing it off, and now I have to go tomorrow, because I have no clean clothes. I have no towels. Now you would think that would be a pretty motivating factor to get my laundry done. But I have been known to just wash out an outfit in the bathroom sink and let it hang dry in the tub, or put it in front of the fan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Perhaps you think I\u2019m one of those people who doesn\u2019t like to do laundry, but I\u2019m not. I actually really like doing laundry. It\u2019s the getting to the laundry mat a.k.a. washateria, that\u2019s the hard part. I have to lug my clothes down the stairs into the car, and the back up again. I think if I had in-home laundry machines this would not be a problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I also should have gone to the post office today and I didn\u2019t. I still haven\u2019t made over that filing cabinet I bought about a month ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the meantime, I\u2019ve been having a lot of ideas. They race in my mind like lightening bugs let out of a jar. I don\u2019t know if that\u2019s a good metaphor, but right now I\u2019m picturing lightening bugs being let out of a jar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think that\u2019s a pretty good image to go to bed to, don\u2019t you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
