You ever watch those YouTube videos where they be like, \u201cA Productive Day in my Life Vlog,\u201d or \u201cCome Spend a Productive Day With Me?\u201d Well this is the opposite\u2026kinda\u2026I guess. I did not work on my fired story today\u2026at all. I got distracted. I was on a bit of a high after posting yesterday\u2019s Wednesday Roundup (I thoroughly enjoyed that one). Then I woke up the next morning, this morning, and I think I got distracted by the heat \u2013 it was hot as hell today, and well, I just can\u2019t write in these conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But all jokes aside, it is a really hard writing task and I really want to get it over with even as I\u2019m constantly avoiding it. I keep talking about it and then when I finally post it, I hope you\u2019re not like, \u201cis this what I\u2019ve been waiting for?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I\u2019m writing this I really want a snack. That was random.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Know what really distracted me today, though? Fashion. I went to bed at like 3, 4 in the morning. I was up doing two things: looking at YouTube videos on people\u2019s trips to Seattle, and doing a little online shopping for shoes for when I go. That\u2019s right, I have a little fall trip to Seattle coming up. I got a great deal and I couldn\u2019t pass it up. It\u2019s funny, I can spend hours planning for this trip and not get tired, not get bored, watching video after video, and searching for more. Noting places to visit, food to eat, or just activities I want to do. But today I got caught up in the fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now that I\u2019m out of a job and have an even more limited budget, I figured I\u2019d just wear what I already have. So I told myself I\u2019ll just buy a pair of sneakers, like fashionable sneakers, because I don\u2019t have any. I was thinking of something along the line of those Veja shoes. They\u2019re simple and can go with a lot of different things. They\u2019re also tre expensive. When I looked at pictures in some of the reviews the said the shoe was cheaply made, and showed the lettering had rubbed off after what was said to be only a few wears, I didn\u2019t want any parts of that shoe. It was way to expensive anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then I went to DSW\u2019s website and just scrolled through their white sneakers, and came across a cute pair by New Balance that was on sale for like $65 and so I bought them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I went to bed and woke up with Converse on my mind \u2013 orange Converse to be exact. So I went searching on Google for the perfect pair of orange Converse and found a pair of hi-tops. Now I\u2019m not usually into hi-top Converse, really hi-top sneakers at all. But again, I went over to YouTube and watched videos on how to style hi-top Converse. Plus, I\u2019ve been seeing them worn in fashionable ways on Instagram, so I think they\u2019ve grown on me. Long story short, I bought a pair, and that\u2019s why you don\u2019t have your fired story, because I spent the day fantasizing about what I will wear in Seattle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
