So I made it to the end of the first week in December, and well, it didn\u2019t go exactly as planned. Last minute set backs sprang forward that I wasn\u2019t expecting and had no response for. One day I picked up extra hours at work and consequently was too exhausted to even think. Once the exhaustion wore off and I got to thinking, I realized the post I was going to write was going to be longer than I thought, and I had nothing planned to compensate for it. Oh, I think that\u2019s the day I gave you my favorite Christmas songs. Then I got a crick in my neck and didn\u2019t write the Movie Scenes I Love post the way I really wanted to. I came through the following day, but honestly I don\u2019t know what state that post is in. I wrote it really last minute, like this one, and didn\u2019t break it down like I really wanted to. Then my Something in the News post got swallowed up in the mix, and now this post. This was supposed to be something random if I remember correctly, because I don\u2019t feel like looking at the schedule. But I think I\u2019m right, so at least I\u2019m sticking to the script with this one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even though I fucked up this week, and what I produced doesn\u2019t exactly resemble what I said it would, I\u2019m just happy I got through it. I\u2019m just happy I came back everyday to write something. I\u2019m just happy I didn\u2019t quit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m making something. I\u2019m building something. Right now, I\u2019m just laying the foundation \u2013 trial and fucking error. It doesn\u2019t have to be perfect, thankfully, because it wasn\u2019t. And I\u2019m not going to beat myself up about it like I usually would. At least it gives me a lens to look through. I\u2019ve gone from rumination to practice. I\u2019ve taken something out of my head and put it to paper, put it to the screen. Now I can determine how to move forward. But one thing\u2019s for certain, I\u2019m moving forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
