I have several goals for February, but there are only two I feel like sharing here. I don’t even know why, but then again I do. Perhaps I will share later, but for now, I guess I’m moving in silence , something I’ve criticized previously but now see the benefit of.
The first goal, and this one is a hard one for me, but I really think I should join a gym. I just really need to start taking exercise more seriously, but I’ve never been the gym type of person. I’ve looked in to joining a gym a few times before, but I just wasn’t feeling it. When I exercise lately, it’s just been using YouTube videos, or going for a walk in the park, or around the neighborhood. But now I feel like I need the motivation and push, if you will, of seeing other people workout too. I think that might help me to do it more consistently. Plus I can take classes and there will be an aerobics instructor, and I was even thinking about signing up for personal training classes. Can I become one of those wake up at 5am girls? But anyway, joining a gym is a goal.
The second goal that I’m willing to share, is read a book and finish it. Song of Solomon is still on my radar. I will probably check it out at the library. I definitely want to start getting more serious about reading, like I said in my last post.
Of course there are so many more goals, and I hope to share them someday as well – some sooner than later, but for now, this is it.
Do you make goals for each month? This is something new I’m trying for this year. We’ll see how it pans out.
Okay, just a quick little post for today. Now I’m going to go watch The Wiz.
