What’s up, guys!
Just kidding — I will probably never write that greeting again. It’s so ubiquitous on YouTube, and I watch a lot of YouTube, so I thought I would bring it here.
Remember that episode of “Martin” where Tommy Davidson guest-starred as talk-show host Varnell Hill and his catch-phrase was “Did you miss me?” Well, today’s title is a play on that.
And how apropos, because I’ve been gone for a minute. That’s only because attempting to write posts that I spend more time composing rather than the last-minute posts I usually do here, you know, like this one here. And, if I’m honest, it’s also because sometimes I just don’t feel like it. I’m not in the mood to write. I’m not even in the mood to think and come up with something to write. All the more reason I need to plan ahead.
I’m trying ya’ll, that shit is new for me.
Right now I’m working on two pieces, one of which may have to turn into a series…though now that I think about it, they both could. I’m working on a piece about Kamala Harris and another about the NBA bubble. Are they both not fascinating? For totally different reasons, for sure, but fascinating is fascinating, and when I’m fascinated I want to write about it.
I don’t know how many of you are reading. I could check my analytics, but it’s a bit of a hassle, so I just let it be. I’m having a hard enough time trying to figure out what I’m doing. However, when blogs or vlogs I like to read or watch don’t post, I don’t like it. I wonder what’s going on, will they come back.
So, if you’re wonderin’, I’m still here. If you like reading, thank you. I’m trying to come up with more content for you. I’m trying to figure out how to be consistent, and what to be consistent with. I’m just trying. So bear with me. I don’t know if that’s the proper way to spell bear for the meaning I’m trying to convey, and I’m not going to look it up, so.
Anyway, like I said, I’m still here. So grateful that you are too, and I’ll get back with you.
