I been gone for a minute now I’m ’bout to jump off. Goons in the club case something jumps off. Who knows what song those line are from? Anyway, I don’t even know if those lines are accurate, but that’s how I remember the song going.
Like that song, I too have been gone for a minute, and now I’m bout to jump off or rather into this week’s Wednesday Roundup, though I must confess, most of these entries did not occur within the last week, because I have not been on social media much lately.
Now without further ado, here are 5 posts that caught my attention.
I love this story! I love that movie “Enemy of the State.” Who could forget that scene with her grandmother. It’s an important lesson that she teaches everyone in this post. Be forewarned, not all the time, if not most of the time you won’t get the respond that her grandmother did. People will be mad at you. People will not like you. But, if you can muster the courage, there’s a satisfaction that comes with knowing you didn’t betray yourself that makes it all worth it.
