Sun and the Color Orange

This was set up as a kids’ picture taking station. Clearly that didn’t stop me.

They say a picture is worth a 1,000 words, so in this entry pictures are mostly what I have for you. Pictures displaying a few of my favorite things: a bright, sunny, autumn day, the color orange, my mom and me.  What better place to get all that I one setting than to go to a pumpkin patch? I’ve wanted to go for years but never made it, but today…

Enjoyed my first visit to a pumpkin patch at Tanaka Farms in Irvine, CA. The people there were so welcoming and nice!
…and no effects
Peek-a-boo, wee see you.
It never fails — when I’m facing the sun, I actually think I’m smiling when I make this face.
Let me pull my shirt out so you can’t see my stomach roll…oh well.
It’s a big one, but just for show, I didn’t buy it.

It’s my mom. A nice lady took our picture (I took her and her friend’s as well). It’s the angle for me!
