And My All-Time Favorite Romantic-Comedy is…

Boomerang! Did you guess it?

And now for some unfortunate news. I feel bad for writing this because I just did this on Tuesday, but writing is not comfortable for me right now as I’ve developed a crick in my neck, that’s making it hard to me to write, and by write I mean think. It’s making it hard for me to formulate a sentence that I have to think about first, because all I can seem to think about is this annoying pain in my neck how my head is slightly tilted to the left less the pain increases.

Then I wonder if this is just an excuse I’m making to give myself more time to write, because I don’t think what I will write in this condition will be good. Or maybe I should have gotten up earlier, did all I had to do today earlier and then attempted to write. I’m just trying to talk myself through this and bring you along for the ride, because it’s 10:31pm as I’m typing this, and I don’t think I can come up with something decent in that time frame. And I know that’s the point of practicing writing is that I will not always have something neatly packaged and presentable to write, but I should write anyway. But I just don’t want to think in this condition.

I think one of the lessons that I’ve learned so far from this experience is how important planning ahead is in this process, and all the things that I have to consider before I announce shit, especially since I’m the writer and the publisher.

But anyway, I have stuff to say about Boomerang, that I’m just going to save for later…maybe tomorrow…maybe.

As for as a favorite scene, I don’t think I have one. I know that’s so misleadingly. I will say I like the joke Eddie Murphy or Marcus makes to Angela at the end when she warns him about looking at another woman passing by. I liked the ending. While I don’t have a favorite scene I do have a favorite aspect of the movie and that’s what I want to talk about more.

So I’m sorry I promised something I didn’t deliver, but I figured something’s better than nothing.

Until next time.

Hello! Welcome to Shirscribe! I know my face doesn't look so welcoming in this photo, it's just that I did those braids myself and I actually like this pic. But I am really happy you're here, so come on in, have a look around, read a post or 50, comment if you'd like and come back soon!

Coming Up Next…

I’ll announce a schedule soon!

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. — Psalm 46:4

Lord, let me be that river.
